Stage Countertop Water Filter System
This
5-Stage undercounter system is ideal for those who want the added
capacity to remove either fluoride, nitrates, or
chloramines. Each of these are contaminants require their own
cartridge just for removal. Fluoride is usually a city water
problem because it is
added by municipalities to prevent tooth decay, however high levels
of fluoride can occur naturally.
Nitrate
is a problem with private wells in agricultural areas and is not a
problem in city water because municipal systems
remove high levels of nitrates where they are a problem. Chloramine
is created by adding ammonia to chlorine. It is a very
difficult to remove contaminant from water. It goes right through
reverse osmosis systems or distillers and becomes
concentrated in the product water. Chloramine can cause digestive
disturbances in susceptible individuals. It has become
the disinfection method of choice for municipalities that have high
levels of dissolved organic matter in their water supplies
since it was discovered that chlorine on its
own creates high levels of carcinogenic disifection
by-products.

The
LIVINGWATERS™ LWUC3 utilizes advanced technology to clean water
while boosting water alkalinity and preserving
healthy minerals. This unit effectively reduces chlorine,
trihalomethanes, heavy metals, hormone residues, VOC’s, cysts,
and pathogenic organisms. It can also be configured to reduce either
fluoride, nitrates or chloramines. It employs our
patented SAFEWATER TECHNOLOGY™ that guarantees water that is free
of bacteria, cysts, molds, and spores. This system
works without the need for high water pressure or power, and
provides a continuous supply of filtered water even during
emergencies and power outages — just when you need it the most.
Because alkaline minerals are preserved, this system
makes water that is extremely delicious for drinking or making your

of water (imparts extra
electrons) thereby causing your water to become a valuable

System
employs top quality John Guest fittings that eliminate leaks while
making installation simple. An integrated "easy
on/off" shut off valve combined with extra long in/out lines
makes filter changes easy. Water travels through an easily
resettable WaterMinder® meter which helps you keep track of when
its time for a cartridge change. Like all
LIVINGWATERS™ systems, the unit employs standard 9-3/4”
cartridges making it easily upgradable as future technology
changes.

LIVINGWATERS™LWUC3 features three white polypropylene housings with
lead-free, stainless steel, long-reach spout.
Optional
decorator faucets are available. It is supplied with either one living
LW10FRC, or one LW10NRC, or one LW10CAC
cartridge in the first housing, one LW10KCER™ premium Doulton
Sterasyl® Ceramic in the second housing, and one
LW10CBR/ST.1 Ster-O-Tap® microfiltration cartridge in the third
housing. Unit is also supplied with a spanner wrench and
extra EPDM “O” ring.* SAFEWATER TECHNOLOGY™ is redundant and
failsafe. You can trust it to make water that is completely safe
from
dangerous bacteria.
